1967년 Between the Buttons의 수록곡. 아름다운 멜로디를 자랑하는 롤링 스톤스의 대표적인 발라드곡이지만 어찌 Angie나 As Tears Go By와 비교했을 때 한국에서의 인지도가 떨어지는 편이다. 물론 외국에서는 60년대 발라드와 바로크 팝의 정점으로 평가받고 있는 유명한 곡이다. 키스 리처즈가 뼈대가 되는 멜로디를 만들어와 브라이언 존스와 함께 스튜디오에서 완성했다고 한다.마리안느 페이스풀은 이 주장과 반대로 브라이언 존스가 Ruby Tuesday의 뼈대를 만들어왔고 키스 리처즈와 함께 스튜디오에서 곡을 완성했다고 증언했다.
